A new sex app could raise eyebrows among Facebook users by offering to have them find friends on the social networking site to "bang."

The app, dubbed "Bang Your Friends," claims to help Facebook users "anonymously find friends who are down for the night."

"Your friends will never know you're interested unless they are too! (It is) completely private and discreet until both friends are down to bang!" it said.

But prospective users of the app may want to heed first a report on Buzzfeed.com, which said the app may not be so discreet as it claims to be.

According to Buzzfeed, logging into the app will produce a screen filled with a user's Facebook friends of the opposite sex.

"The faces you'll see certainly aren't chosen for compatibility or even availability — included in my choices are coworkers, gay guys, married folks, and, in a particularly gross oversight, my little brother. The app appears to be designed for exclusively heterosexual pairings," it said.

A user can click "Down to Bang" on any one of these people's faces, but should not expect a notification unless the person clicks on the user's face too.

However, it noted a loophole where Facebook users can see who among their friends are also using the app.

"It's not really 'anonymous' when your Facebook friends can see that you're out there trawling for sex, is it? It's embarrassing enough knowing that they can just see you, but imagine one of your Facebook friends clicking on 'Bang With Friends,' seeing YOU there, and deciding there probably isn't anyone in there worth downloading the app for after all," it said. — LBG, GMA News
