The 2012 Miss Universe first runner-up isn’t dwelling on the controversy. Janine made news after she and Jaypee appeared on “Kris TV,” where she also admitted her attraction to The Script vocalist Danny O' Donoghue.
“Sabi ko nga whatever you do, you just have to accept the mistake, let it go and move on. There’s really no good in dwelling into something negative. Basta ako I have a very solid spiritual family who helps me go through with everything,” Janine said in an interview on “TV Patrol” on Tuesday, May 29.
Her name has also become a verb in social media and Internet memes. ‘Na-Janine’ has taken on many meanings, but is mostly used to describe when someone gets dumped. Despite their breakup, Janine’s ex turned to social networking site to defend her from the negative criticisms.
According to the report, Janine is no longer interested in getting back to her former boyfriend Jaypee.
“I’m happy na. I just want to enjoy what I have right now, there are lot of opportunities and a lot of things to do pa,” she said.
