“Lumalabas kami, pero isang dosena, kasama yung mga ibang X Factor contestants. Pero yung mga labas namin, kung hindi kain, movie,” KZ said at the launch of her self-titled debut album on Thursday, June 27.
She added that people might have misread Matteo’s behavior.
“Nagulat lang ako kasi baka namimisinterpret lang ng mga tao yung pagiging magkaibigan namin. Magkaibigan lang talaga kami. Si Matteo naman sweet talaga sa mga kakilala niya. Lalo na sa mga babae, maalaga siya. Kaya siguro namimisinterpret ng mga tao.”
KC adds that hers and Matteo's roots go back to the Visayas. They also love music.
She further said that Matteo is close not just to her, but to other X Factor contestants, including Kedebon Colim and Gab Maturan.
Although she thinks Matteo is boyfriend-material, KZ doesn’t see herself getting cozy with him for now.
Proud of Charice
Meanwhile, KZ is proud of her mentor, Charice for having the courage to come out.
“Mas napatunayan niya sa mga tao kung gaano siya ka-strong as a person. She will always be my madame.”
Eight months into her “The X Factor” victory, KZ finally released her self-titled debut album, which carries her carrier single “Puro Laro.”
Aside from her previous singles “Killing Me Softly” and “Scared to Death,” KZ is proud of her album’s all-original tracks, namely “Umiibig,” “Darating Din,” and “Bakit Lumuluha.”
“Sobra akong blessed na finally na lumabas na ang album. Hindi siya yung usual type ng song na maririnig niyo. Lahat rin original, pero sinama rin yung mga nauna kong singles na lumabas. Proud ako sa kinalabasan ng album. Masasabi ko na it is worth the wait.”
KZ has invested her prize money in a house and condominium unit. She hopes to provide for her family even more through her regular stint in the Sunday variety show “ASAP,” various shows abroad and other showbiz commitments. Yahoo!
