The post came in the wake of his estranged partner Kris Aquino’s remark, wondering where the popular cager was on Sunday. Aquino was apparently expecting Yap to fetch their child, James “Bimby” Yap Jr., so the two could celebrate Father’s Day together.
The link of the photo that Yap posted on Twitter was hashtagged #italy #niceview. It shows Yap, who is touring Europe, with a Caucasian woman embracing him from behind with seascape as a backdrop.
Yap and Aquino had a highly-publicized breakup in 2010, with the presidential sister accusing the San Mig Coffee ace guard of being a womanizer.
And after a bitter custody fight, a Makati trial court allowed Yap late last month to regularly visit his son even as it warned him not to go anywhere near the popular TV host–at least not within 100 meters.
Looks like James Yap is having a good time while touring Europe. Aside from flooding his Instagram account with breathtaking views of Western landmarks, the PBA cager’s last post on the photo-sharing site showed him and his Italian girlfriend enjoying the sight of a cliff wall in Italy. James is currently on break from the hard court to enjoy his European trip with the girlfriend.
As reported by Philippine Star’s Ricky Lo, the still unidentified girl works for a big bank (not the daughter of a bank executive as earlier reported).
“Hindi siya maarte. She’s very simple. She’s supportive of James. She even goes with James when he has his car washed,” the Funfare source described the girl.
