Batman and Superman in a Movie coming up soon in 2015 - July 22, 2013

Batman and Superman will join forces in a movie that’s set for release in 2015. Warner Bros. made the announcement Saturday at Comic-Con.

A Business Insider report via Yahoo! Finance says “Man of Steel” actor Harry Lennix in an opening remarks qouted a line from “The Dark Knight Returns” comic book that goes:

“I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come. In all your private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember, the one man who beat you.”

Afterwards, director Zack Snyder reportedly took the stage and revealed a combined logo of the two superheroes: 

The story will be co-written by Snyder and David Goyer, writer for screenplay. Director Christopher Nolan will also team up with the two so expect it to be huge, gigantic.

The report adds production of the film, which is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, and Batman characters created by Bob Kane, published by DC Entertainment, is expected to start in 2014.

In February this year, DC Entertainment announced the “Superman/Batman” series, the story of which focuses on how the two iconic heroes met in “The New 52” universe. The comic book was expected to hit stands last month.

The logo mockup earlier is way better and more dramatic than what was officially unveiled for the Batman Superman movie over the weekend.
