We would like to have a Son

We already have three daughters and my husband would like to have a son. Do you know of any douche that we can use? How about consulting the Chinese calendar?

About 10 years ago, while I was still a resident trainee, I was able to get a copy of this Chinese calendar that supposedly predicts the sex of a child even before birth , or with right timing, the parents can choose the sex of their child. Unfortunately, based based on the pregnancies of patients and friends. It was not accurate either, so I eventually let go of my copy. The closest thing to planning the sex of the baby is by the timing of the sexual contact based on the time of ovulation. Each month, about the 14th day prior to the next menstrual period, the woman releases an egg, also called ovum. This is the ovulation period or fertile period of the female. The life of this ovum is only about 24 hours. Meanwhile, the sperm, which comes from the male partner, has a longer lifespan of up to three to five days  inside the female womb. According to experts, sperm cells that bear the female sex Chromosome X, are more sturdy and live longer. On the other hand, sperm cells that bear the male sex Chromosome Y, are more sensitive and can only stay alive for a few hours to a day. If you want to a have a male child, the advice of the fertility doctors is to time the sexual contact on the same day as the ovulation to give more chance for the Y-Chromosome - bearing sperm cells to come in contact with the ovum resulting to fertilization and pregnancy. To have a fertile child, sexual contact must be done about two to three days before the expected period of ovulation so that only the X-Chromosome-bearing sperm cells are the ones remaining in order for the ovulation period to be known. this is done by an ultrasound of the woman's abdomen. This is not 100 percent accurate, but this is the most scientific way of choosing  the sex of a child. I would therefore suggest that you consult a certified obstetrician-gynecologist ( OB-Gyne ) so that you can be more accurately guided.
