At least two domestic flights were canceled on Saturday due to bad weather conditions, the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) said.
In a post on its Twitter account, the DOTC said the affected flights were those of Zest Air, and involved destinations in Manila and Aklan in Western Visayas.
The affected flights included:
- Z2-308: Manila to Kalibo
- Z2-309: Kalibo to Manila
Earlier Saturday, PAGASA said Bicol and Eastern Visayas may experience cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rain showers and thunderstorms which may trigger flash floods and landslides.
"The rest of Visayas will be cloudy with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms," it said in its 5:00 a.m. bulletin.
On the other hand, it said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. - VVP, GMA News
