DOTC: Bad weather forces cancellation of 2 Manila-Taiwan flights
Bad weather on Friday forced the cancellation of two flights between Taiwan and the Philippines, the Department of Transportation and Communications said.
The DOTC, in a post on its Twitter account, indicated the affected flights were those of China Airlines.
It said canceled flights are CI-711: Kaohsiung to Manila and CI-712: Manila to Kaohsiung.
The Philippines, however, has had relatively good weather this week, with isolated rain in Metro Manila.
Philippine state weather forecasters said the northeast monsoon is expected to weaken further next week, giving way to hot and humid weather. — LBG, GMA News
