Reports tag “A” as Alyssa Quijano, the X Factor finalist. Charice said “A” plays an important role in her life.
But while she admits her ties with “A”, the international singer is also very protective of Alyssa.
She said that Alyssa did not join her at the OMG! Awards press conference at Urbn Bar and Kitchen in Fort Bonifacio on Tuesday, June 4, as she did not want her to be exposed.
When asked how long they have been together, Charice said she’d rather keep it to herself.
Meanwhile, now that she has finally come out in the open, Charice can joke about her transformation.
“Magpapatayo na lang ako ng museum,” she said when asked about what she plans to do with the feminine outfits in her closet.
She would also announce her coming out of the closet in the “Ellen” show, which was one of the first to showcase her talent when she was still a YouTube star.
Her public confession also signaled Charice’s greater involvement in the LGBT community, of which she said she is willing act as a spokesperson.
She added that she came out, not for anyone else, but for herself. The avalanche of praise from American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and other international personalities are just icings on the cake for her.
Hours after the Yahoo! OMG Awards launch, Charice and Alyssa exchanged sweet tweets.
